We had a great experience at this hotel. Check-in was easy and Kendall was extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms seem to have been recently remodeled - smelled new and fresh and were very clean. We would stay here again if ever in the area.

The hotel is currently under renovation. The updated rooms look amazing. The staff here is always friendly and efficient. The bathrooms have new beautiful white tiles. The updated shower, sink, and vanity were beautifully done. New carpet and furniture with features like USB ports on each side of the bed really freshened up the look and practicality of the room. This is our hotel of choice in Johnson City.

Overall, it was a decent stay. My first night, I was smelling cigarette smoke. I reported it the day after, and it seemed to be taken care of because I didn't smell any for the rest of my stay. If I have to nitpick, I would say the girls at the front desk that work the evening shift could be more friendly. I would pass by and look at them and smile. I expected at least a "hello" or "welcome back", which I get at a lot of the hotels I've stayed at. I didn't get any acknowledgement. Not that this is a big deal. But with the amount of traveling that I do, and the quality hotels I stay at, I guess I got used to that level of professionalism. The difference between a good hotel and great hotel all comes down to customer service.
